Bunch of locked files
I'm the admin and only user of my computer. The folders in Users>myname>Local Settings are all locked. Is this normal?

Some directory junctions are installed by default on Windows Vista and later versions, for compatibility with previous versions of Windows, such as Documents and Settings in the root directory of the system drive, which links to the Users physical directory in the root directory of the same volume.
The Local Settings is a directory junction that is link to C:\Users\*\AppData\Local directory.
To view directory junction at your user profile folder execute Dir /A:L %UserProfile% command from Command Prompt.
Windows is just a patchwork, like the stretch of parkway near me with potholes that have been patched dozens of times, rather than re-asphalting the whole stretch.
I was just looking for my Google Chrome profile.
Look inside AppData folders.
Type chrome://version in the Chrome URL path and it'll give you the info your looking for. Chrome is open source as you know. I use Slimjet which is a chrome hybrid. Much more advanced. Welcome To Slimjet
Lance1, what is the best download source for chrome slimjet?
2/26, Lance1, is this the URL: Download older versions of Google Chrome for Windows, Linux and Mac

Thanks. If it's open-source, someone should do away with Google's spyware, and put the Menu Bar and Toolbar back.
