Is my computer good for W10?

    Hi Brethren,

I tried W10 upgrade but my computer was crashing too much. So, I reverted back to my W7 Pro. Now, I want to go for W10.

Would I be able to run that on my old PC Acer 2008; SIND No. 92400118330?

    Acer Aspire X3810.

    Acer Aspire X3810 Desktop PC

It was designed for Windows XP and Windows Vista and Windows 7, and all of its drivers are dated 2009 and 2010, so it's more than 10 years old.

The SNID number you submitted is "not found", so I can't determine what hardware came in yours.
Recheck the number and make sure you didn't submit an incorrect one.

I have an Acer Aspire X1200, that came with Vista and Office 2007.
I got it from the original owner, after a PSU, hard drive, and LAN failure.

I maxed out the RAM, replaced the PSU, CD player, and installed an SSD and a LAN card.
Then I clean installed Windows 10/Pro/64 and it's running GREAT!

    Try the clean install.

    I agree with post #3.
You will have much better success doing a "clean" install of Windows 10 and getting a fresh start.
The failure rate for doing an "upgrade" install from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is substantial because it carries over debris and issues from one operating system to the other.
