Reboot loop issue
I have a Windows 7 Desktop which is experiencing the following issues
- Reboot loop upon boot. It will load the BIOS screen and then immediately load the "Windows Error Recovery" screen asking me to either run "Startup Repair" or "Start Windows Normally". Choosing either option will lead to a reboot loop with the same scenario.
- During normal usage, it will reboot itself and be stuck in the reboot loop above. This occurs rarely.
I managed to boot to Safe Mode and run sfc \scannow and chkdsk. However, there are no errors.
Update:
- Boot with only system drivers selected does not work as well, results in reboot loop.
- "Advanced Boot Options" > "Repair Your Computer", results in reboot loop.
- I have tried to boot using a USB drive containing Windows 7 and another containing Ubuntu, both doesn't work and displays the same reboot loop symptoms.
Does this mean this PC is dead?
Are there steps I can do to resolve this issue ? Cheers !
