Created user with same password as admin and now can’t log into admin

Created user with same password as administrator acct and now can’t Log into Administrator Acct. Help!

I know it sounds weird but I did it. Was just trying to feed it something till I had a one I wanted it to be, I had no idea it would cancel my administrator account password. What happened here? Did it default the Administrator password to something else? The second account is not administrator level, just user. I’m on a windows 7 pro box.

    Thanks for any help!!

Like the old bumper sticker said, "Stuff Happens". (I had to clean that up a little)

And the older we get, the more it seems to happen. Been there, done that!

It's nice to hear you got it sorted out.

A good rule of thumb....if you absolutely HAVE to have a password on your PC, at least write it down somewhere, and then don't forget where you wrote it down.

I've never used a password on any of my (many) PC's in 40 years. But as a working Computer Tech, I've had to remove the passwords on many of my customers PC's, where they have forgotten them.
With a professional "Password Removal Tool" it's easy to remove passwords.

    Cheers mate!
