    mp4 thumbnails missing in windows explorer


    my mp4 thumbnails are missing after I merged the restore .mp4 to default associations registry values from Default File Type Associations - Restore I have deleted the old thumbnails caches. the mp4 registry values are corrupted ? please advise. thanks.

    windows 7 ultimate 32 bit.

    uninstall / install shark codecs, and it's ok now.

I'm getting more and more used to Windows 7. Generally I like to see everything as files and folders; I don't care to see photos as thumbnails. I like to see file name (with extension), size, date, etc. How do I do this in windows 7. Thanks.

I don't know where else to file this, and it could be in the wrong place. In Windows Explorer (I guess that's what it is called under Win7), the displayed thumbnails for all of my images are the System Default Image instead of a thumbnail of the actual image. I even get the System Default Image...
