Oh... Never heard of that before. Could be though! I just know that sometimes my W7 boot screen would be replaced by the Vista one, and doing one of those two commands would fix it.
He has only updated his post once, so... Maybe he fixed it?
I did a clean install and I never had VistaDid you do an upgrade or a clean install?
Do you still have Vista on your machine?
