How To Have All Drop Down Menu Items Always Visible By Default

I have another computer which I'm trying to set up to be similar to my main one. I can't remember how to get the drop down menu items (e.g. in Excel) to all be always visible without having to bother pressing the arrow each time to get the menu expanded.

    Hello,

You could try adjusting the MenuShowDelay setting to a low time like 20 milliseconds like in the tutorial below to have menu items open quickly by just hovering over them.

On my main computer I don't do anything like that. The menus all opened expanded without any hovering. I know there was something I had to set years ago on my main computer to get that but I don't remember what that was.

After a lot of digging I found what I was looking for:Personalized menus. That is what controls what Windows shows in drop downs and what requires pressing the arrows. What I don't remember is where the Personalized Menus setting is. I believe it's in the Registry but I don't remember where in the Registry. Anyone know this now?

The answer which I got on a different forum, in case anyone here is interested, is to select Always Show Full Menu in Customize->Options
