    Original video date.


    I have a problem when i remade video files with Wondershare. I often get only the date of conversion on all files. Before i got the original download date to. Is it something i need to change in Windows 7?

    Before i could keep the original date of almost every converted file but now i only see today's date. Is it invidual according to the file information?

    Welcome to the forum. If you remake a video then its creation date is that days as its a new file?

I spent some time searching the forums but did not find any post that answered my question so I am starting a new thread. Windows Explorer is changing my original file's date when I do a drag-and-drop copy operation. I would like to know how I can tell Win7 to not change the original file date.
To me if a started a file a week ago be it a Word Document, or whatever then last week is when it was created. If the day after I do something to that file than that day is the date when that files has been changed, or as Windows puts it, 'modified'. What bothers me is if I now make a copy of this...
