    How can I increase the number of items in the pinned window of taskbar


    Hi Guys,
    It seems to me, that on the first 12 items I can see in the pinned pull-up window of the Explorer icon on the task bar if I add another item (like a folder), it stays hidden but if I delete any of the visible ones, the hiden one shows up on the bottom. I am using something called "classic shell" and with it "classic start menu" , I am not sure if it has anything to do with this and my Windows 7 sp1 has just a few crucial patches installed.

    Is there a way to increase the number of pinnable items to 20 or 30 somehow? Maybe through the registry?

    Why not use the "Quick launch" bar. You can put 100s of links and folders into it.
