Windows 7 32 Bit freezes when I try to read articles

    Hi:

    I am writing about my wife's computer. It's a used windows 7
32 bit. Now I know there are a lot of reasons why a computer
freezes, but I thought that if I added reading articles, that a
light might go on with someone. Thanks, in advance. Tony

    Hello Tony,

First you have to check your graphics card driver if its up to date, check on the manufacturer's website for an up to date driver and check if the issue is resolved.

Tony, It can be many things.
What I have seen on old computers that freezes is a CPU or GPU heat sink clogged with dust.

Do you have a Hardware monitor to check the temperatures?
