When I try to Boot from the C:/ Drive, Windows asks that I Repair the

Drive by inserting an original Installation Disk and doing a Repair.

When I do this, Windows says that the Disk I have inserted isn't the same version as the one in the C:/ Drive.

I only use Windows-7 Pro so I am totally confused.

    Any help would be appreciated.

If the operating system is installed in bios mode, you need to boot the repair media in bios mode.

If the operating system is installed in uefi mode, you need to boot the repair media in uefi mode

Could this also be an issue of service packs? Meaning your disk doesn't have SP1, but the computer does? I believe our helpful tutorial here on in place OS repair says just this.
