    Windows.iso

In Libraries->Documents I've found a file named "Windows.iso". It weighs 4.5 GB. Is it ok to delete it?

Windows.iso sounds like an ISO file that is used to install some version of Windows. The ISO file can be used to either burn a bootable DVD or create a bootable USB flash drive. You boot from one of these when you want to install Windows.

Do you remember downloading this file or remember which version of Windows it is? Could you have been thinking about upgrading your computer to Windows 10? Or, did you simply want an ISO for Windows 7 so you could reinstall it?

If you don't need the ISO file then it is OK to delete it.

I don't remember where that file could have come from. If I needed to reinstall my Win7, I could use Samsung Recovery, so I guess this iso file is of no use to me.

    Hi,

    yes and no

    why,
depends on when you comp was manufactured, IF prior to 2011 then your recovery partition is likely only W7
If the Iso is after 2011 then it likely includes SP1

Right-click that ISO file and then left-click "Properties" in the menu.
When the properties window appears, it should show dates for "Created" and "Modified" and "Accessed".
    What are those dates?
