Should there be a bar at top?

Hi, I have just joined the forum hi all.
I was in the Sony Centre today at Lakeside, and they had a lovely touch screen PC there which I was playing with. But while I was in there, I noticed that all of their Windows 7 laptops etc had this litle arrow at top of screen in middle, which were lots of shortcuts.
Mine doesnt have this. It was a Sony Upgrade from Vista...
    Why isnt it there??

It must be an add-on piece of software...that is something that doesn't come with 7 by default.,

I know that Dell are adding a variant of the Objectdock tool-bar to some of their recent Machines - It may be that Sony are doing something similar - check on Sony's website for your machine to see if this is available for your system

You can often find the Sony bloatware - sorry I mean apps - on the Support Downloads page for your model.

If you used the Sony Upgrade Kit to upgrade from Vista, then there should also be an apps disk to choose from.

Finally, you could call Sony tech support and ask how to get the apps directly. They are required by MS to support their 7Up Kits.

HP as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is what it is and most manufacturers start offering it.
