Which Operating System might I Boot from, 1,2, or 3?

While trying to create a "clean install" of Windows-7 Pro 64-Bit, I was presented with the option of Booting from multiple Operating Systems.

I powered on the PC in question and what looked like a Screen from the BIOS asked which OS should be Booted.
There was a Timer running and indicating if I did not make a decision the Highlighted version would be booted.
    #1 was titled Windows-7
#2 was titled Windows-7 PRO recovered.
#3 was titled Windows-7 PRO recovered.

#1 was highlighted and I let the Timer Boot from it.
As it turned out, it was or appeared to be the "clean install" I thought I was building.
It works and appears to be fine.
I checked and Microsoft thinks it's Windows-7 PRO 64 even if the Timer / Bios thing doesn't.

#2 was not highlighted and I tried to boot from it after a Restart I selected.
As it turned out, it was the System that was "hacked" that started my dilemma six months ago.
It works and appears to be fine.
    I checked and Microsoft thinks it's Windows-7 PRO 64.

#3 was not highlighted and I tried to boot from it after a Restart I selected.
As it turned out, it would not Boot but was responsible for the Message I posted asking if anyone recognized the Message I Posted.
It does not work at all per my booting attempt and the Message I Posted asking for help.
Since it does not Boot at all, Microsoft must be able to identify it as Windows-7 Pro some other way than the Control Panel Report.

My question (s) to the Forum are:

Is it possible to delete / get rid of #3?
    If so, how?

#1 appears to be the "default" to Boot from.
Might there be a way to cause #2 to be the "default"?
    If so how.

While understand how all this occurred would be interesting, I rather try using #2 in my daily life vs continuing to work on / rebuilding #1.
Thus, the reason for wanting #2 to be the "default" Boot.

I installed NORTON and ran it against all Boot options.
It found the Virus I reported in another Post and cleaned it up / out.
Right now, I'm feeling better about getting back our life's emails and whatever from #2.
If I weren't able to do that, I would only have Spectrum and their no Windows-7 / Office 2007 Support edict to criticize. (BLAME)

Your help and understanding are greatly appreciated.

msconfig >click the BOOT tab will give the options to Set as Default or Delete

    Yet again, you nailed it.

In doing so, now we are able to retrieve Email from years ago.
There is a problem sending however but that's another battle.
Thank you for your insight and effort.
    I deleted #3 successfully.
I reordered #2 to Boot first.
    Thank you again and again.

You can manage your boot options including removing and renaming with easybcd. Warning: If you mess up the boot settings you won't be able to boot your computer without doing a repair so be careful. EasyBCD - NeoSmart Technologies
