Windows 7: No 'Administrator' In Saved Files

Windows7 (Home Premium)

Thanks-a-heap, you Wizards.

I'm now just getting back from work and unto the PC, and I'm ready to dive in again.

Can't thank you enough. Never knew about possible conflicts with personal data and C:\Program Files.

I surely won't forget that;............. I'll post results.

Problem solved.

You guys are the best.

I just MOVED "music" from Program Files to Users\Monsonman, didn't click-on "take ownership" - went right to Properties\Details - and POOF! Back in action.

Thanks again fellas; garysgold, ignatzatsonic, logicearth, and HPF.

I've been at the PC since August 1998, and have made many and costly mistakes.

I also am a member of the The Steel Guitar Forum - and there is a COMPUTER sub-forum there, and still, this is the first time I've been made aware of the conflict (or possible conflict) with Program Files and personal data. There are sharp PCers on that forum, just like here, but in 11 years at it, I'm amazed I'm realizing this, now. Of course that's not to say that the info wasn't forthcoming. I just may have, as Jimmy Buffet once put it, "and like the Jitterbug, it plumb evaded me".

Vista Ult 64 bit Seven Ult RTM x64

Your welcome Chipper. Glad you got everything working. Before Vista, it probably didn't hurt anything having stuff in that folder except if the OS goes funky and you have to reinstall it could be all gone. In Vista things changed to give the OS more security. Enjoy.

Unable to see saved!
When I save a file to my C drive, (like a Jpg for example) then go into my C drive to view it, the file isn't there. But when I am saving another file, I can see the first file in the C drive, only in the "Save Window", not when I go to the drive itself. Make sense? Any help is appreciated.
