How can I stop my laptop from hibernating?

    HI,
I have set my laptop to go to sleep when I close the lid. According to the online help, it should stay in sleep mode unless the battery gets low, in which case it hibernates. Well after a while of being asleep, my laptop goes into hibernation regardless of the battery life remaining. This can happen after an hour or so.
How can I stop it from hibernating, or is this normal?
    Cheers

Go to Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Change Advanced Plan Settings > Edit setting in critical battery action.

Thanks for the reply but won't that just stop it from happening when the battery gets low? It happens on my laptop regardless. Sometimes when I've woken it from hibernation (although I only put it to sleep) it's had nearly full battery.

The Hibernation settings is sometimes in BIOS. If you boot into that, you can look around and see if there are any hibernation settings in there you can change.

If not, then there may be another way...
