    x32 Only Full Retail

I think that I may have just burned myself. I just bought this from eBay:

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Full BRAND NEW/SEALED - eBay (item 160383137739 end time Dec-01-09 08:55:53 PST)

I didn't notice until afterward that it only includes the x32 DVD and not the X64 DVD that I intend to use. I have looked at so many ads, all of which included both DVDs, that I failed to notice this when I should have.

Since I have an x64 Upgrade DVD now, would the x32 license key work properly to install as a full retail system?

Windows 7 Professional includes 32 & 64-bit versions .... where did the 64-bit go from a 'sealed' box?

That is exactly what I thought. I'm still awaiting a response from the seller. In his first response, he claims that the software is available with either a single disk or two.

Yes, but the question remains whether it is true that MS releases single DVD versions of the full retail or not? Also, whether the license key will work properly to install from my upgrade disk or not?

Even the upgrade editions include both 32-Bit and 64-Bit.

I doubt MS makes a DVD with both ver. on it as it would exceed just barely the capacity of a dual-layer DVD...

All the DVDs are exactly the same. Upgrade, Retail makes no difference. So the key you get with the other one could be used on the Upgrade disc. As long as you install the same SKU. It also does not matter whether the SKU is x86 or x64.

It gets close to a single-layer DVD, but not any where near a dual-layer capacity.

    Jacee,

I still haven't sent the payment via PayPal, and that is what I'm trying to decide. IF it is true that a sealed box version of the full retail is released by MS, then I will go ahead and pay for it, but I want to be certain, one way or another. How can I find this answer? When I have contacted MS in the past, about much simpler questions, I have never got a straight answer.
