Access denied error in win 7

    Access denied error in win 7


    If i try to save pdf files from opera to my E Drive, it show an access denied error... if try to save in my C Drive, it allows .... should be due to permission rights of windows 7.... how do i change them so tat i can directly save in to drives other than C drive ??

    Hi and welcome

    I assume the E drive was in another os. To change right click the drove>properties>security> add you user name to the group that has read , write, modify access. Save and that should be it.

    My computer name is " Prakash-PC ". i am logged in as " prakash "..... this is what i see if i right click on 'drive e ' as u told... and all the four user groups or user names u see in pic have all the " permissions " ticked as allow except special permission.... ????? n i have only one OS installed on my comp n its win 7...
