    miscellaneous problems


    In the past day or two I have been experiencing some problems. Microsoft Security Essentials refused to uninstall, Java update failed, and Live messenger installation failed. What's up?
    More about MSE: After failing uninstallation, I used an uninstaller to force remove it. I should have know better, but that failed too. Now not only is MSE not working, but I cannot reinstall it either. I will try restoring to a restore point made before the uninstaller ran.

    My MSE is corrupted too. It can't update and it can't uninstall. If you figure out a way to fix it or remove it let me know! Thanks!
