After last update I think, WMPsideshowgadget.exe and WMPlayer.exe is started on boot, and I can't find a way to stop that. I have no Gadgets running at all.
Problem is, when I recieve an email with a video-file attached and play it directly from Windows Live Mail, then WLM freezes until CTRL+ALT+DEL and shut WMPSideShowGadget.exe down this way.
Easily, Download CCleaner from the link at the bottom, go to the Advanced Tab, and Startup, and delete the " WMPSideShowGadget.exe " from boot, and any other program you don't want to boot up with your machine.
Erhm ... where is the advanced tab you wrote about?
In the normal startup shown in CCCleaner there is absolutely nothing about WMPSideShowGadget.exe or WMPlayer.exe. Please guide me a little further. TIA.

WMPsideshowgadget.exe is running because you have Logitech G15 keyboard.
If you wand disable it, go to Control Panel -> Windows SideShow and disable Logitech items (and every else if you want disable that process).
I have also disabled every scheduled SideShow task. And from gpedit.msc i disabled whole SideShow. But really it's enought that you disable those item via control panel.
I can't now remember how i disable WMPlayer.exe. If i remember right i disabled offline files, not sure. But try, offline files is useless feature if you don't use it. :)
