7 disc

I purchased my mother a pc as hers was slooooo and old anyway.
It was a dell and came with a free 7 upgrade she doesnt really want the upgrade and I was curious if it can be installed on another PC instead.
Other than the dell it was "intended for"

Thanks

Just run the disc like any other?
Nothing special to bypass change etc.

According to MS, the Windows 7 DVD included in manufacturer's OEM Upgrade Kits can be installed on any machine, but it cannot be activated except on the intended machine.

The key attached is tied in the manufacturer's database and MS activation computers to the OEM hardware config and Vista license on the computer.
