Any way to pin an .xls file to explorer icon on taskbar

    You can only pin a shortcut to the taskbar, but you've already been told this.

    No you won't be able to do that. Windows Explorer does not open files. The jumplist attaches files to there executing program, not to random hog-poges.

    Do you want the icon to go to the Libraries or just open up the c: drive?

    I wanted it to go under the pinned section of the icon. When I right click on the explorer icon, I was hoping I could have that file there under all the pinned folders. It could even be under the frequent section.
