    can anyone confirm that windows7 consumes more laptop battery power consumption?

    I get longer run times with Win7 Ultimate than XP Home SP3 on my Dell Mini 9 netbook.

    I have noticed a small difference, slightly less. But I also have been abbusive on my batter which is more likely to cause shortter battery life. ( keeping it plugged in days on end)
