    Sleep Mode

I have an online backup that runs every night. I also have an anti-virus that runs every few days. I have discovered that if I use Sleep Mode, these do not work. I have also tried Hybrid Sleep but that is no better. Is there any way to use Sleep Mode and also have my programs run?

Not that I've heard of. If you have this in task scheduler, there is a check box on the conditions tab to wake the computer to run the task.

    Man you are making hungry!
If you go to your control panel and view the power settings you will see 3 options.
Within these options under "Advanced" you will see the drop down menu where you can custom tailor your defaults even more precisely.
As you I have bat files to perform various tasks during off hours so I set my "Power Saver" or "Balanced " option for the HDD and processor to remain on Standby.
I need to see the King! LOL....
