I now find both of these as active processes, which if I kill, they immediately return. According to the tooltip, they are some kind of signin assistant for Windows Live ID, but I don't recall installing anything for this. I thought that it might have come from installing Office 2010 beta, but I have removed it and One Note from the startup options, yet that had no effect on these processes. How do I get rid of these?

You may well be correct, but since I have disabled everything in startup options for Office, how do I get rid of it? I have no interest in it.

EDIT: Rereading your response, I noticed the word "addin", but I only have Office 2010 beta without any addins.

Nevermind, I found it in services and disabled it.
