you can create a SLIDE Show and output it via a Composite output if your video card has a TV (old fashioned analog kind) video Out.

I don't think there's any other way except a long manual process -- create the slides as a set of individual JPG's (JPEGS), save to a SD / other type card and then use some camera software for displaying them. Some video / DVD players have a card reader which will play jpegs from a card.

You might be able to find some free DVD authoring software for creating a DVD of the jpegs but if you have a digital camera the software included is usually OK.

With a digital camera you should be OK on any case as the camera will usually output to a composite device so just stick the card into your camera, connect up to your device and play.

(Ensure when you create the jpegs from your power point presentation that the image size is within the size allowed by your camera --should be).

Once you've got them (the photoshop slides) as JPEGS Photoshop can create a slide show as well.

There are plenty of programs on the web that allow you to convert a PP presentation to Video (step1). Here is a selection:

Step2 is to burn the video files to DVD. You can use DVD Flick for that ( DVD Flick ).

I myself do not convert the PP files but use a screen capture program ( WMCapture - WM Capture - Super High Quality Video Recorder ) to capture the presentation. It produces excellent quality but it costs $40. You can try it for free though. Here is an example of what I did: Power Point color fading on Vimeo (turn speakers on and set the little screen to full screen - bottom right) I don't think that would do very well with a conversion.

I think the OP still needs to get the video stream to his video player - he doesn't say if it's a DVD player, a Video recorder or whatever - which is why I suggested creating a Composite video output which can feed directly into the player whether it's a DVD machine or an old Video recorder.

If the target device IS a DVD player then OK making an AVI and copying to a DVD is fine - but if it's a VIDEO recorder this won't work.

If he can get it into a digital camera that should also work for feeding in to a variety of devices.

OP needs to specify target output device.
