    How do i get rid of need permission to replace a folder?


    I want to copy and paste some files into another file but i keep getting you need permision to do this? How do i get permission?

    You can either take ownership of the files, or add yourself to the group that owns it. there is a shortcut to take ownership here. Take Ownership Shortcut

    Hello Andjayik,

    Did you also "allow" your user account "full control" of the folder and it's contents after taking ownership of them?

See attached. I get the informational message that I do not have permission for this folder. I have looked at some of the security settings and they are all GREEK to me. Anybody shed some light?
