I just loaded my VB6 PE that ran on XP. When I tried to load the MSDN it reported that the OS I was using was not compatible. Why did it load the first disk and not the second ?? Could I be running 64 bit without knowing ? I don't remember having to make a choice during set-up. I assume I am running 32 bit
Sorry yanks0826, I meant no disrespect & wasn't trying to be sarcastic (at least I didn't think so)...just informative.
Not all users of W7 are totally tech savy & that is the reason for the way I worded my post.
Yes, this is a very, very good source for info on W7 so stick around & learn some more!!!
How I found this place was Googleing questions on "How to" when I first started working with W7U beta & this site kept coming up in the results with the correct information I needed! So I decided to stay & learn some more & have never stopped learning new stuff with this new OS.
For example...here's one cool plugin I learned about here in the Windows Media Center section of this forum which is Media Browser! I'd never heard about this until this forum!
Extremely cool plugin so check it out...it's in a sticky in that section.
