Your graphics card is a shared memory onboard card, meaning it uses some of your RAM. It looks like your system has reserved 259 MB to the card.

How did you see that my graphics card is a shared memory onboard card from my screenshot? and how did you fiigure out that my system has reserved 259 MB to the card.

richc46 thanks for your help and information - This is a general discussion board, I find it easier to post all of my general questions that i have about windows 7 here rather than individual posts. It just takes less time. Is that not what a general discussion board is? Now if i needed to go into further details of what i'm asking for then i will surely post in the specific section for members with expertise in that area of questions, can come to my help.

Your system specs tell us you have a Pavilion dv4-1275mx laptop. It has a ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics RS780M GPU, which is a shared memory onboard graphics chip.

Bottom left of your screenshot tells 259 MB of the RAM is reserved by the hardware. The most logical explanation for this is that your graphics chip is quilty of this reservation.

Freezing issues and BSoD issues. Help please!
My first problem is that Windows will randomly freeze up and I end up having to hard reboot my system. Windows will also BSOD on me randomly. I've read a number of things online about how to fix it, but nothing seems to help. Also, another problem, I'm not quite sure how to explain this one....
