Windows 7: Some .exe don't start

To each his own, but I have RocketDock also, but I have it set to autohide anyway, that seems much better than having it to clutter up the desktop.

These tweak apps you are using are destabilizing Windows 7, which is perfectly balanced and feature-complete without these tweaks.

If you have a System Restore point before you installed these apps, then I would use it to restore to before the system was corrupted, run sfc /scannow to check whether any damage was done to system files, and if necessary run a repair install in the hope that no corruption is carried over with an in-place reinstall of the OS.

Otherwise, clean reinstall conquers all corruption.

You don't know what are you talking about. These are simple apps, they don't even need to be installed. You call them "these tweaks", I call them just programs that worked on my OS and they suddenly stopped to work. And no, I don't have a system restore point, so I think I'll format.

I'm doing fine with my RocketDock setup. Here's a screenshoot of my desktop anyway, I think we are using RocketDock in different ways

Well, I re-installed the .net framework and nothing changed. So, unless you have better ideas I think I'm going to format.

Classic Start Menu: Start Button appears doubled
