You might see if using the BAT file in the tutorial below to reset Jump Lists may help. :)

how to get pinned folders to expand?
I'm running Win7 64 bit and I have several folders pinned to the taskbar, which is on the left side of the screen. My question is, how do I get the folders to expand outward to display their contents the way Documents or Control Panel do?

When you drag click upwards on Windows Explorer, the saved folders up top have all disappeared.. Anyone know how to restore them? Would be great help.
