    Alt tab issue?

Hi, i'm not sure if this is in the right section or not but I'm having a problem with alt + tab. Whenever I do it it bugs out. For example, if I have 4 things open it'll START at the second one then go to the third one only to come back to the second one again. It's rather annoying when multi tasking, any suggestions?

    Hello Rose,

You can press Alt + CTRL + Tab instead for this.

Switch Between Windows - Flip 3D Shortcut

    Hope this helps,

Hi, I tried that but again, it vanishes within a second. Normally it stays there as long as I keep the alt pressed down, but that isn't the case anymore.

    Rose,

Just to be sure, do you mean the box below keeps vanishing on you, or the window that you are trying to select is? If the window, then this is normal. It only displays the selected window, while the others will be transparent (Desktop Preview) in the background.

Well, when I alt tab and I try to select another application that is open I need to literally spam it in order to have time for it to show. Is there a way to make the delay before it vanishes more?

Pressing the Ctrl+Alt+Tab keys together should allow that box above to stay there without having to press anything else until you select the open window that you want to be displayed.

I tried that just now, but when I click tab AGAIN it goes away almost instantly. It makes alt tabbing so much harder. I remember back on vista the delay before it goes away was so much more.

How about when using Ctrl + Windows Key + Tab for Flip 3D instead using Tab to cycle through the open windows?

If this is closing on you as well as soon as you press tab to cycle, then try running a sfc /scannow command to see if it can find and fix a bad system file that may be responsible for this.
