    Not at all. Win7 and IE8 have never been less than instantaneous out of beta on 2+ gb average boxes.

    If they were, I'd clean reinstall.

    I just launched IE8 and it took 7 secs to launch and load my home page which is google. Firefox takes 2 secs and Operea 10.1 is instantaneous... Hmmm
