can't get win 7 to recognize ext.hdd
I was gfiven some external hardrives with enclosures and was told they all work. I cant get a single one to be recognized in computer. any tips or workarounds to get windows to recognize these drives. I am now using an acer 64 bit laptop.

dvd not recognize
acer aspire device manager it shows as a unknown device it opens up when i press eject and when i search for drivers this pops up windows can find drivers i've ltried upper filters and bcedit and f8 so would appreciate some help
