Possibly.
Never turn off indexing in Win7 as it affects many different needed features, and is perfectly optimized to begin with.
Make sure it is on by right clicking HD>Properties>tick box.
In the HD GENERAL PROPERTIES tab Indexing is ticked for all my drives, but if I go to Control Panel and open INDEXING OPTIONS, then click MODIFY, I notice that only the following folders have a check mark next to them :
Internet Explorer History
Offline Files
Start Menu
Users
Windows Live Mail
PS: I haven't changed them, they have been like that ever since I installed Win7.
