If it is hardware it won't work - as with some games requiring Shader Model 4.1 or higher or Pixel Shader 3 or higher. Can you upgrade the card?

I meant replace the card. If you have a free PCI x16 slot, even a 1.0 version then an ATI 4350 should work. Its not for games, but can decode blu-ray and dvd:

    Newegg.com - Sapphire 4350

yeh im gonna have to upgrade to a better g-card i think.
Because ive installed windows 7 on 4 different machines (using same g-card) and i get the same problems.
Might just get a cheap one from Ebay for now, as im buying a new machine in Jan

Build a new machine - buying one is pointless.

Its overpriced - quad core is obsolete and that card is barely mid-range.

yeh it is abit pricey, but there are Dell XPS 430's on ebay (refurbished from genuine sellers)
    from £400-£800
But it only sounds expensive cuz the 23" screen is £200
