    Start-menu icons won't set...

There's 2 icons on my start-menu, including internet explorer,. whose correct (default) icons (eg. the blue e) have disappeared and been replaced by the white looking box icon. If I right click and 'change icon' I can select the correct icon BUT it just doesn't show-up after I press 'Apply'.
    Any idea's ?

    Hello BeachNut,

You would need to change the icon and click on OK instead, then repeat a couple of times until it changes back in the Start Menu.

This will not work on a pinned item. If it's pinned to the Start Menu, then you will have to unpin it, do the change above on the shortcut, then pin the shortcut back.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

You might see if rebuilding the icon cache may help for that one.
