how to find full path name

    New to W7 (4 days)

On transferring files to new computer, one quicken file did not load in registry. Quicken tech support told me to print the full path of the file QWAPP.DLL in "run." How do I find the full path?

    Hi Jane.

Navigate to C:\Program Files\Intuit Inc\2005hb\qwapp.dll (or whatever directory you have it saved to)

Right click on the file you want, click on properties, Under "general" right click on "location" and choose "select all".

Then right click on it again and "copy".

That should copy the full path of the file you want.

    Hope this helps.

    v3,
I'm half way there! followed your instructions, and no longer get an error message when I try to print. Printer makes startup noises, then nothing happens. I have tried to print in other programs, and the printer works, so I guess the problem is still in quicken. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated,.

    Did you do this too?

    1. Click Start > Run.
    2. Type in the field: regsvr32 c:\program files\intuit inc\2005hb\qwapp.dll then and click OK.
    3. A message will appear stating the registration was successful: "DllRegisterServer in c:\program files\intuit inc\2005hb\qwapp.dll succeeded."
