I have a system here that got a bug when I installed and later "uninstalled" a 3rd party power management application, this in turn caused BSOD's and mysterious reboots...
However, each time I come to the machine after it has rebooted from a BSOD, it tells me that Windows had a BSOD and rebooted to recover. So I strongly doubt your issue is from a BSOD.
Hmm. Well ok I just disabled it.
We'll see if it gives me any issues from here on out.
Why don't you try to reproduce the problem by changing your time to midnight and see what happens?
look for the "RAC" event it is known to cause reboots I have dealt with it myself on a clients machine and I have helped someone else here with the same problem
if the pc is in sleep mode any slite vibration can activate the mouse which will wake up the pc. i think you can tell windows to only wake up from the keyboard.
