Thanks for reminding me, the ports on the back of my pc are 1.0 and the ports on the front of my pc are 2.0. Currently i had the usb wire plugged into the back of my pc, il change it to the front now for my phone so it will increase the speed.
You should always plug USB Peripherals into USB 2.0 ports if possible. It is a lot more than speed USB 2.0 advantages??? - TechSpot Troubleshooting

after alot of searching around and a long day i managed to find a solution for the problem, theres a hotfix beta that i downloaded, now i can transfer all my data to my phone/ external hdd / usb without it stopping and showing up as unformatted.

They don't like it when a person posts a direct link to a download. When I did that recently, I got a PM from a mod giving me a warning. Change it to the download page.

USB 3.0 pqi flash drive suddenly stopped working on USB 2.0 ports
I have a 32GB USB 3.0 pqi flash drive and it used to work on USB 2.0 ports just fine. I don't know why but it suddenly decided to stop working on USB 2.0 ports (still works on USB 3.0). USB 3.0 port is not faulty. USB 2.0 port is not faulty. How do I get it to work with USB 2.0 again?

I shouldn't say suddenly. It's a 2TB drive I had in an enclosure that took a bump off a short table the other day. It seemed fine when I tested it and pulled up all the folders. But when I went to move a file off of it, the drive disappeared. It shows up in drive manager as not initialized and not...
