    display problems in windows home premium


    This is just an annoying problem. I just wandered if anyone can post their personal pictures on desktop in CENTER position....I will choose center and save changes but it stays on stretch..and pictures of people stretched look ridiculous...((wanted grandkids on desktop))

    I have no problem putting my desktop in the center. I right click on desktop, choose personalalize, select the picture and then select center. Is that what you did. If it is, I wonder if it could be the screen resolution that you picked. Why don't you try to change the resolution. If that does work, makes sure that you are satisifed with how the change effects everything else, like files and the net. I can almost bet that is the problem. Go to help and support and type resolution, then click on change, its easy and I just know it will work and when it does you will be able to see those cute grandchildren every time you use the computer.

    This is a common problem, especially with HP computers. If you're using an HP, go here and install the patch mentioned.

    If not, I don't know if I can help you! Hopefully others have some ideas...
