Windows 10 Pro x64 x3, Ubuntu

Hi Win7,

that's a strange one

I've only had to install a couple of things in compatibility mode in 7048 x64 and they installed in SP1 mode, (I have them running in Vista x86 SP1, so seemed logical :)), with no issues.

Until someone liberates the tech specs on the various modes and publishes them will just have to try each one until one works

Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 x64 Windows 8 Enterprise RTM x64

I noticed this first in nokia pc suite, it does actually work in vista sp2 cos i have it on my laptop but selecting that in 7 as compatibilty it won't install, nor sp1, but vista is fine, i would guess xp works also but have not tried.

Build 7048 confirmed, Windows 7 RC1 on February 27?
I have confirmed with a Microsoft employee that build 7048 does not yet exist, and that development on the RC branch has not yet started. Speculation on a new build keeps mounting as testers still have not received anything beyond build 7000. The original story is below. Full Story: Build 7048...
