Do you have more than one harddrive in your system? If so, check in the BIOS and see if the one with Windows 7 installed on it is set as the first in boot priority.

How long did you leave it?With my own it takes about 30seconds to boot up after the flashing underscore appears.
Or does it mention missing bootmngr?

You could try putting the installation disk back in, and run start up repair 3 times.
If this does not solve your issue we can look at other possibiltes.

Put the Win7 Cd in and let it start.
When it comes up "press any key to boot from CD" pres nothing.
If it gives an error, what is it?
This will determine 2 things,if windows recognizes a start up error and if your HD is actually booting.
In Bios make sure that your HD is selected as boot priority (i.e make sure it is on the list)

And did you run start up repair 3 times?

    :)

I missed that point, where did you buy your disc?
Did you burn it or did another company?
It could have been written at a higher speed than it should have been.
