    User Account Help???

This is my first time using windows 7 and I cant figure out how to turn off the default "log out". If my computer goes untouched for 3 mins it goes to the select user screen. I dont want to have to keep clicking on it, anyone know how to turn this off???

Hello TL, and welcome to Seven Forums.

In your Advanced Power Plan settings, double check to make sure that this option below is set to NO.

If you use a screen saver, then also check to make sure that the option below is unchecked as well.

    Hope this helps,

Hey brink, i thought it had worked but i guess it didnt, here is what my screen looks like when it goes to the sign in screen, it has my name and says "locked" underneath it.

    TL,

That looks more like the screen you would see when you manually lock the computer from the Start Menu, or press the Windows Key + L, and you do not have a password created for the account.

    TL,

Double check to make sure that Screen Saver option above is still unchecked and click OK. 10 minutes is the default time for this.
