'Date Modifed' of filename doesn't change

    Hi Bugman,

    You could try in a different User Profile to see whether it an issue with User Profile. The best suggestion i would give would be to Login under Build-in Administrator and test it under that account to see whether you have the same behavior there as well

    That would be due to the fact it is not saving in the place you think it is. If an application was trying to write to a location it did not have permission (Program Files) the location would be virtualized so as not to break the applications (or cause a UAC prompt). It would save the write operation here: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
