I personally uncheck all of the items in the msconfig startup tab except my AV and MS entries like stikynotes and sidebar (gadgets). Other programs are RAM/CPU freeloaders which don't need to be started until you run or click on them.

NVidia even lists its unneeded startup apps (like the one which caused your error) under MS entries, so scour them for any NV in the name so you can uncheck them also.

Congrats on the clean install, and handling these issues exactly right by posting them with exact titles to get help.
I unchecked it and rebpooted I got the same error and then I went to the same page and it said it was still unchecked. I think I might have two drivers for my graphic card. Also like I said the screen it fine but web browsers are crunched. Do you think I should uninstall the graphic drivers then search for the m again?

If the problem is only with browser, then I doubt it is display driver but you can reinstall it anyway to be sure.

Can you post back a full-screen Snip of the browser display problem? Use Snipping Tool in Start Menu, attaching file using paper clip in reply box.

Did you check the Zoom and Text Size on Page tab on Command Bar?

Try setting IE8 back to defaults at Tools>Internet Options>Advanced

It's fine. I just customized the zoom level. The only thing it still does is the error at startup(even though I unchecked the box).

That is an Nvidia error (normally when their mostly-useless utilities load at Startup) so I would uninstall the display driver in Device Manager and restart to let it reinstall.

Check Windows Update frequently for incoming newer drivers.

Try the latest driver from Nvidia website.

BTW all installed drivers are accessible to choose at Device Manager>Display Driver>Driver tab>Update Driver>Browse>Let Me Choose

You can roll back a bad driver on the Driver tab, as well as uninstall.

Try leaving box unchecked to let it auto-reinstall by restarting.

You can also leave it unchecked when you uninstall to try installing newer or different drivers from both your computer maker's and the Display adapter maker's Support Downloads webpages for that model.

The reason is you might want to go back to it. Pay attention to what the Driver tab page says in Device manager to know you gotten the correct install version/date, roll back if problematic, find installed drivers at link given above.

What link above? What if i just try to update driveR?

By all means, install any possible driver given for your Display adapter - new, old, beta - to solve the problem.

Was just pointing you to the link in my post to where all Display Drivers are stored as they are added so you can find them quickly if you try another:

The release candidate I am using is Windows Ultimate. When I purchase Win 7 I will get the home premium. Will I have any issues installing the home premium? I guess if I do a backup, then a clean install, everything should be fine?? Thanks!
