Windows 7: Upgraded to Win7 Ultimate still burning problem..

Your drive might not be compatible with Windows 7. Has it ever burned to a CD before? Have you ever had Windows XP?

No i never had XP on it, i bought it with Vista home premuim 32bit. and it was working well for year and there was no problem burning. before a couple of months the problem started, i tried to go back to restore points but there was no use.
This week i installed Win7 ultimate 32bit, and here i am! :S

The only thing i noticed in your first post where you went to device mgr there's an exclamation point beside your chipset driver, that's where i would start.

I think you have a faulty drive. I think your best is to replace it. They're pretty cheap.

GUYS I UNINSTALLED THE CHIPSET THING AND RESTARTED THOUGHT IT WILL INSTALL AGAIN, THE DVD_R DID BUT NOT THE CHIPSIT THING NOW MY SCREEN IS SO DARK ((( what should i do?

Upgraded to Win7 Ultimate and now i can't connect to the internet.
I updated to windows 7 ultimate and installed my previous wireless adapters driver and it is all set up fine. But when i click either connect inside the Netgear Genie window (i have a netgear adapter) or the windows connectivity icon i can not connect it says "connecting" brings up the loading icon...
