Google toolbar, with what? IE8 or FF3? It may not work with IE8 at all (even on Vista.)

Oh. I don't use toolbars again. Firefox's built in search does the job. Along with Gmail Manager extension.
The only reason I like Google toolbar is its "Autofill" feature but I can live without it. I've yet to install FF in W7. Will try later.
I moderate at McAfee Security Forums so am in my default boot, Vista where all my tools for that are situated and as McAfee refuses to even install in W7 I'll be spending the bulk of my time booted into Vista I'm afraid.
I have W7 x64 installed and have google toolbar - you just have to try and install it again, mine didn't work the first time either.
Same with Flash player just try again.
I am using Outlook supplied with MS Office, as my mail client.
I'll try the GT again, thanks. I don't have Outlook as I only have the Home & Student version of Office so I'm successfully using Incredimail (licensed so no ads) as my mail client.
Thunderbird works fine with the x86 windows 7 so that may be an option ... works on IMAP anyway,:)
Might have a look at this post. https://www.sevenforums.com/general-d....html#post2017
I've got Windows Mail up and running in W7. Tried Live Mail and although there are some things I like about it, the fact that it doesn't use (or I haven't figured out how to make it use) the W7 contacts folder is a deal breaker for me.

Will try a few things. Next task is to get my TV Tuner working in W7. Got Google Toolbar 5 to install just fine.
