And another way to see all Control Panel Items (like GodMod folder) is: Open Control Panel and then type "a" into the Search box, all items will be listed.

So, what's the upshot? Is this God Mode thing the same as the All Tasks Shortcut?

It's the same thing. They just erroneously call it godmode, I guess to strike fear into your heart.

Thanks Airbot. The name God Mode is a bit overblown... its just a bunch of links to other folders, and it grants us no extra powers. I thought it might be a "super admin" of some kind.

it sure makes it super easy to paste shortcuts to the desktop from any of the actions listed in the godmode folder though!

It has been known to crash with 64 bit version of Vista. However it works with 32 bit.

Now if this were really a Godmode, we wouldn't have to wait for Windows 8

There is the BSOD god mode
A slight reg hack and 2 key strokes, And boom you control BSOD

Why you would want to do that, besides it being a "Boss Key", its pointless unless you want to mess with your local IT person
