Windows 7: SentTo menu is empty

SentTo menu is empty

When I right-click a file on any file, and in the context menu -expanding "Send To" - it is empty ?!

In the registry, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\SendTo points to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo
This folder contains 7 items ?!

(HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\SendTo contains default value - {7BA4C740-9E81-11CF-99D3-00AA004AE837})

Hi, Welcome to SF,

I guess it's an issue with Context Menu
Download the ShellExView

The rule is to disable non-Microsoft context menu handlers one-by-oneand verify if the problem is solved. If disabling one does not solve the problem, undo the disabled item and disable the next non-Microsoft handler. Do the same until the problem is solved and finally identify the culprit. Scroll right to see the Company Name column in ShellExView.

Hope this helps

Hello Yoho, and welcome to Seven Forums.

The tutorial below can help show you how to restore the default "Send To" context menu items in Windows 7.

Send To Context Menu - Remove or Restore Default Items

If not, then you can try a system restore using a restore point dated when Send To did work properly.

Hope this helps,
